Join us as we host a panel with Alison Perry (Central Oregon Veterans Ranch founder), Deborah Grassman (OPUS Peace founder), and Derek Abbey (Project Recover President & CEO), three experts who have spent decades supporting veterans and their families with end-of-life care, trauma support, and peaceful closure for both them and their families. During this discussion, you will:
- Learn how to best support aging veterans, especially those who have experienced trauma
- Understand how trauma from military experience can resurface at end of life, both for veterans and their families
- Learn how clinicians, family, and friends can better understand what may cause trauma to resurface at end-of-life and how to support them and honor their service
- Gain tools to help support a peaceful closure
