July 30, 2024 @ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
As part of the VA Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships (CFBNP)’s monthly webinar series, CFBNP is hosting a program overview of the Survivor Assistance Program through the Office of Survivors Assistance.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Survivors Assistance was established to serve as a resource regarding all benefits and services furnished by the Department to Survivors and Dependents of deceased Veterans and members of the Armed Forces.
The Survivor Assistance Program is available to survivors and dependents, Veterans, their families, caregivers and others to improve their knowledge of available benefits and services offered by VA to eligible Survivors and dependents, and support them in taking the next steps to apply, if deemed eligible. This support can also include bereavement counseling and funeral assistance.
